About Us
The OWA Medical Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, established to serve as a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental entity. OWA’s aim is to promote support for Women, Children and Dental Care. Our unwavering commitment extends beyond immediate services as we aspire to make meaningful contributions in the realm of research and development in areas of national interest within the United States.
The Corporation is established within the meaning of IRS Publication 557, Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. It shall be operated exclusively to promote and support all families, including low-income people, by providing charitable activities within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and Texas Code Section 1118(c), including but not limited to providing general and preventive medical services to the public and owning, operating, and maintaining places to provide medical services to the public.
