Kiran Ahmed, the trailblazing Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Omar Welfare Association (OWA), stands as a beacon of transformation. At OWA, she spearheads a mission to provide legal services for immigration cases and extend vital assistance to victims of domestic violence. Under her leadership, OWA offers an array of social services and free legal counsel on family matters, facilitated by a dedicated team of experienced staff attorneys. Kiran’s vision extends across borders, aiming to benefit individuals seeking support for immigration cases in the United States, Asia, and Africa.

Prior to her remarkable work at OWA, Kiran served as the President and CEO of the KAWA non-profit organization based in Pakistan. Her illustrious career also includes a role as the state counsel of the Federal Board of Revenue and nine years of distinguished practice as an Advocate of the High Court, specializing in the realms of banking and criminal law in Pakistan. Kiran’s educational journey is marked by a Bachelor of Law from the University of Karachi and a Master of Law in U.S. Legal Studies from Pace University in New York.

Kiran’s core goal revolves around extending support to low-income and indigent families in dire need of legal assistance, with a particular emphasis on providing accessible healthcare services, a fundamental need for all. With her visionary mindset and a unique ability to analyze and address community issues, Kiran honors the power of teamwork. She has assembled an exceptional team of high-profile professionals dedicated to delivering quality legal aid and healthcare services to the community, each working diligently to uplift humanity and maintain the United States as a leading first-world country.

Kiran’s ambitious vision also encompasses the establishment of Research and Development departments within OWA’s services, geared towards identifying solutions for discrete women and children’s health issues. Kiran’s philanthropic spirit shines brightly as she continues to be a catalyst for positive change in the world, leaving an indelible mark as a true humanitarian and leader in her field.
